The title pretty much says it. If you have a winner with the combo please tell me about it. All velocity levels welcome. Please specify the brass too.

Thanks in advance.

You knew someone would be that guy and give you data for some other powder right? LOL. I use 45 grains RL15 with good accuracy.
No sweat. There are a couple of good 4895 loads for it too.
Math, I don’t know the powder, but my friends daughter just did in a 340 bull with a .308 and 125 gr. Accubond.. Very impressive.. I can get the powder and specific load if you like..
Thanks.

I'm particularly after 3031 loads. I have a bunch of it and it works exceptionally well for mid speed target loads for a 168 grain bullet
That's impressive news on the elk with the 125 accubond. I sectioned one of those on my grinder and was amazed at how fast the jacket goes to a really thick taper. Any chance of a description on the recovered bullet? I intend on gearing up my 308 with that very bullet in the near future.!
I called him this am.. But he was out trying for his own elk.. I will see if they recovered the second hit when it was down.. More of an insurance shot that anything.. The first hit exited, the bull went down and he had her shoot once more, I think down through top of the shoulders.. I never had a 308 and he is a 7mm mag. man.. So the info is dead accurate.. See what I can find out..
I used one grain under max 3031 load from the Speer #13 manual with a cci 200 1985 w-w cases and 125 Ballistic Tips and 130 Hornadys. Way before I had a chronograph, but it shot well enough for a college kid with just a few components.

H322 and the BT with same components was literally a one holer. I think I posted the charge /load in the "good 308" thread when it first started.
guestement on velocity by quickload. These are old. worked in M1a and sako

130 HP Speer H-380 50.0 2800
130 HP Speer 3031 42.0 2703
130 HP Speer 4895 42.0 2513
Daughter used the 125 BT in a 300 Savage to plant her doe last week. One shot and she dropped withing a yard or two of where she was shot.
