im looking at buying a Bergara Ridge or HMR-PRO, they use 1-9 twist, kinda in the middle of "fast twist" .22-250's

whoever is shooting 1-9, whats your pet recipe? I looked through the pet loads here, got a headache.

thanks

My Shilen barreled Rem 600 is 8 twist. It handles 80’s and lighter extremely well. Not sure how heavy one can go with a 9 twist.

I have a factory savage varmit gun with the 9 twist. It loves 69 SMKs. It will shoot 75 a max ok. By ok I mean sub 2 inch at 300 yards. I tried some 80 grainers but they did not do well. Ed k

You could probably shoot 90’s in that one.

id go on the shooters proshop website and buy a bunch of 55 grain e tip bullets. Then i'd grab a random charge of h380 like 35 grains and mess with the seating depth until I got it where I wanted.

Get the 62 Barnes, they are pig slayers. Super accurate
