Well these loads give excellent accuracy anyway.

Ruger Ultralight 20 inch barrel

CCI 250 primers were used as I have a bunch of them, Remington cases.

100 gr. Speer HP 44.0 grs. WC852, 2651 fps.

120 gr. Speer BTSP , 42.0 grs. I4350 2660 fps

120 gr. Speer Mag Tip, 42.0 grs. I4350 2680 fps.

The 100 grain load was chosen because I had a Lee dipper that held just that amount. The 42.0 loading of IMR 4350 has proven to be very accurate, 1/2 grains of powder either way opens the nice tight groups up to 1 1/2 inches or a bit more. For my present needs these seemingly low velocities are all I need.
Well, you can "always" have it reamed out tot he Ackley Improved! smile
Or just shoot it like it is and not worry about it. Then again H100V is supposed to get near 3000fps in a longer barrel!
You need to start all over. EVERYBODY knows it's impossible to kill big game with less than 3000 fps muzzle velocity!
I must have killed all those deer and hogs while processing them! When I lived in Wyoming and my average shot distance was over 150 yards I loaded for top velocities all the time, now that I live in Texas where a long shot is 250 yards I like 2600 to 2800 fps just fine. I have to say I thought I would be getting closer to 2800 fps than 2600 fps with the 120 gr. loads though.
