Just loaded up some 25.06 stuff using 100 gr tsx, new Rem. cases, Rem 91/2 primers, 55.0 gr of RL 19 which according to Barnes should be plenty safe. Everything worked and looked good but my Chrony registered 3263, 3276 and 3279 out of a 20" Douglas barrel. Quite a lot more velocity than expected and under 3/4". Anybody else try this combo? Please post your results.
Thanks

Haven't tried it myself ... but see no fault in the results so far ... do a few more groups for confirmation and go kill sumptin' ...

Besides, chrony's don't lie ... but sometimes speak with a strange accent. 55 H4831 and the same bullet have told me tales between 3200 and 3550 over different chrony's on different light conditions. Trust the shot to shot variation and grouping on one particular day and lighting condition if you are within book numbers.

55gr. H4831sc and the same bullet give me 3200 fps from a 24"barrel.

My match grade 26inch barrel spits them out @ 3504 fps with 55 grains of 760.

My 24 inch Shillen barrel launches them at 3,320 fps over 57.5gr RL 22. Sure zapps Texas whitetail and hogs.
