Got some of those ABLR blems from Shooters Pro Shop. From everything I've heard, these bullets like to jump? Have a pretty tight chamber in a custom rifle. Trying to figure out where to start seating depth. Love to hear from some folks who have run this bullet. Was thinking about starting out way long, with around .100 jump.

Powders I've got on hand are H4831SC, Ramshot Hunter, and RL 23. Have a 26" barrel so getting 3,000fps should be no problem, I think.
Going to try this combination too in a rifle that does not like 130s, seems ok with 140s. Wondering about where to start as well.

You may find this interesting.

10 twist? Hope they stabilize for you if so

1:10. It's a 26" barrel so they'll be going pretty fast.
0.050" maybe?

Haven't tried any of the other powders yet, but with Hunter I got these 150 ABLRs grouping in the high 3's/low 4's with a few different loads and COALs.

At the moment it looks like best load is 54 grains of Hunter with a CCI 250, jumping .050. That was good for 2930 fps, groups fell apart when they went faster. Pressure signs didn't begin until 55grains. Might tweak seating depth a little as it was pretty consistently putting two together one just outside.

Got them shooting similarly well jumping .130, but at that COAL I couldn't drive them faster than 2850 without the groups opening up.

If anyone wants to duplicate this load, note it's with Hornady brass which is was the lightest of all the 270 brass I had on hand, so guessing it's got pretty good capacity.

Would like to try some RL-26 if I could ever find any. Was sort of hoping to get these things running over 3k.

It won't be a problem if you're using RL26. Other powders...Hmmmmm.

It's a relatively fast barrel that runs right at 3,000 with factory 150gr loads. It got 3k with Hunter...but went from under .4 MOA to 1MOA. Not that 70 fps really matters. But definitely will try RL-26 when I can find some.
