Looking to rebarrel a model 7 I recently acquired it has a 222/223 bolt face. I already have a 223 , 17-222 , 6X47 , this would be a walking varminter eye towards resale without the purchaser needing wildcat dies. Gun currently has a 223 Rem heavy barrel on it that is threaded for a suppressor, guess the guy was going for a bench gun.
Any ideas ,what makes the most sense ?

Thanks.....Sarge

I see no 20 cal's in your list......

how 'bout a 20 Practical ? (20-223)

Send it to Pac Nor & they'll fix ya up...

Just had a new reamer built from PTG in 20 PT

Shipped it to P-N....having them build me another heavy Savage barrel

Your rebarrel job is prob a 4 month wait from most

I rebarrelled a Savage 12 to 20 practical. Love it! Jim at Northland Shooters Supply has his $hit together if you need anything. It looks like you are into the wildcat scene, so maybe you'd prefer the 20 tactical? I went practical because it's one step down 223 case and done. The tactical has a bit more work, but I'm sure you know all that

Go standard 204. No wildcat dies needed nor bushing dies. Head stamps match the caliber. New owner won't make the mistake of chambering his 20-223 loads in his 223.

.204 Ruger. You or next buyer won’t regret it.
