I can't seem find nosler's 224" 64gr bsb from shooter pro shop, Did nosler discontinue that bullet?
I doubt it.
They are just not running them right now.
There were available at the proshop several times in the last couple of months.
Never got these to shoot well; about like the 64 grain Winchester, but both bullets are capable of minimal decent hunting accuracy.
Neither Nosler or SPS list that bullet or 223 ammo with that bullet any longer. I suspect they're focusing on heavier, long range bullets that sell better these days.

I bought a couple hundred a year ago but the market keeps changing...

In stock now, I bought some last year and killed a doe Antelope and whitetail with them this year. Great bullet both pass through and not a lot of meat damage. I'm using a max load of Stabill 6.5.

I have a bunch of 62 grain Bear Claws, they work well, not quite as accurate as the Barnes 62 TTSX
Mtngroan, yeah I seen that shooter pro shop got them back in stock again! Thank you for heads up. Glad you have success with them. I heard people complain that they're not very accurate? But I'll probably buy some. Debating between them (nosler bsb) or should I wait for the speer gold dots to become available? The nosler seems to be tougher constructed bullet than the speer gold dots. Both are use in law enforcement.
I bought 100 rounds of their blem ammo a while back for about a buck a pop. Won’t chamber in my Ruger Hawkeye because it’s seated out too far. Runs like a champ in my Mini-14. 2700+ fps. Gold Dots seem like a better buy.
Pappy348, they definitely are cheaper than the nosler blems for sps! If powder valley inc ever gets them back in they seem to have the cheapest prices. Plus, read good things the gold dots.
The noslers shoot great out of my 22-250 build, way better than the partitions. I never liked the performance of the 22 cal barnes, had most not make it through with all the petals broke off of the bullet.

speer gold dots just work well on deer and hogs, all weights.

Any experience on deer with the 120 GDs at 2700fps (6.5CM)? Thinking that might be a little outside of their performance envelope. Thanks
They are in stock right now......

this is exactly my findings also. good enough for deer withing "normal" range, with perfect shot placement. i may have almost a full box i might sell.

Not yet, but I live in hope. Have a bunch of those loads up for my Grendel, presumably running about 2600. It’s first up this season (Monday!)

Load “development” was super-simple, and they shoot very well in my Howa. Just picked up a couple hundred more. I may never get into my 129gr LRABs.
Like to get peoples feedback on what their load was, and what accuracy the got out of their 64gr nosler bsb? Thanks!

For example what's not very accurate? 1.5" groups at 100yards? Compared to what accuracy for the gold dots?
Varget got me sub-1" 5 shot groups; CFE223 got 1 1/4". Both powders very near Hodgdon's published maximums. Sure 10 shot groups would be a better indicator, but these were sufficient for my 200 yd deer hunts.

Son_of_the_Gael, Thank you! Yep, that should work!

No luck. Passed on a spike. Next up is my FC, which weighs 1.75 pounds less, for some walkin’ around. That one gets LRXs.
