I'd like to work up some reduced loads for my Interarms Mark X 243 with 80 gr. bulk Win bullets and IMR4895. I'm aware of the 60% formula the Hodgdon recommends. Has anyone loaded any? Goal is a short range coyote and plinking load.

I have been shooting some 75 Vmax in front of 34.0 Gr. of 4895 with good results...should work fine with 80 grainers.

I have IMR4895 in my reloading room and at my age don't plan to add any powders to my current inventory, but thanks anyway.

30 grains of IMR 4895 then should work out fine... for others:

for short range coyote loads for others who might be interested... 15 grains of Unique...70 grain Speer TNT.. a bullet I buy in bulk 1000 bullet packs.
Large rifle primers or large pistol primers both work just fine...75, 80, 85 and 87 grainers would work just fine also...

work up, but in my 243s, they are all accurate.. pretty close to what I've been told yto expect in single shot pistols...T/Cs etc with 10 and 12 inch barrels.
