No I have not. Waiting on a 6mm ARC chambering. Keep us posted.

For now I am getting by very nicely with the CZ527 in 6mm ARC. Maybe I won't be in need of a 600 after all.

The 527 is pretty hard to beat!
Posted By: Jim_Conrad Re: CZ 600 LUX.. - 04/02/23
Does the 600 beat it?

I never had a 527...so I'm gonna say YES!

Never had one? Thats kinda saying something!

If you like them I bet I would too. Will be sure to handle one if I ever see it in person.

When you are accustomed to Rem 700s it takes a little getting used to, but once you do...its the shizz!

ingwe what bullets were/are you using? I’ve found a good load in my 600 using 65 grain Sierra GKs……shoots wee little big hole groups with them and am looking forward to trying on bigger game (vermin 😁)?!

I like the 600 and have several 527s. They both have their pros (primarily extremely accurate) and their cons (some plastic on the 600 for me and protruding magazine on the 527).

They had a 600 at Cabelas in the Gun Library section. It was new but had a small scuff on the stock. 20” barrel threaded for a brake/suppressor. At $649 I about took it home. I would have if I didn’t have a half dozen 223s already. I should have checked if the safety was still the reverse of what they usually are as it was on the 527s. I could never get used to that on the one I had so I sold it.

I was using both the 55 gr Vmax and the Sierra 63 gr SMP, both worked well, and shoot to the same POI

$649 was a steal, as they just raised MSRP to $999.99

The safety is a push button affair at the back of the bolt, and it works in the logical direction.

I have no doubt your 65 Sierra GKs would make a good pig bullet , but I feel with anything in a .223 a brain shot is an absolute necessity. Easy Peasy with something that shoots wee little groups!

Now that you mention it I don’t see any blood on the bodies of those pigs👍😁.

Yeah any decent bullet to the brain gives you a DRT, which beats the hell out of crawling in the thick Texas brush to retrieve one.....especially if he doesnt want to be retrieved... grin

Sold my 527, .223 for same reasons, liked the set trigger, but never got the accuracy

I bought a cz600 in the range model. Been shooting 107 smk inti sub half inch. It’s a 6 Creedmoor. I just loaded 3 of the 105 berger veld bullets and shot them at 300 yards. All three touching with a .303 inch group. I’m going to pursue that some more. Edk

I found out a few of the new 600 series I kind of like them especially the woods stock. I'm the one that's really glad they got away from the single set trigger. the lock time on that thing is horrible...
