My Kimber liked 36-36.5 grains of Varget with the 50 Nosler Ballistic Tip.

125?! Didnt know there was a 125 grain .224" bullet made...

LOL, it's the first time I have heard of that weight also!!!

38 grs H-380, 52 SMK then work up.

my model 12 likes 35.5 grains of 8208 and 50 gr.vmax.never tried 125 gr.

As Swifty says......38 hrs H380 and 52 gr Sierra Match King....get that to shoot and tweak it from there....if it won't shoot that load, it probably isn't going to shoot any load well.

I'm sorry the 125 gr was for 308. But I and gonna try a 55 gr v max in my 250

30 grains of RL 7 and a 40 grain bullet, gives 3750 fps..
with a 52 grain bullet it gives 3500 fps, and the same with a 50 grain TNT or Vmax...

37.5 grains of 3031 and a 50 grain Ballistic Tip, Blitz King, VMax...those will run right at 3950 fps....

34.5 H4895 worked well in my Savage .22/250s with 55s.
