I have some Hornady moly coated V-Max bullets. How can I effectively remove the moly coating?

Tumble with rice

Thanks laker. Think it will it work in a vibratory unit?

Dbl, What I did w/a bunch of 338 250 Pt's was to wash in dish detergent to get the loose stuff off then put in my vibro' w/old media for a day. Doesn't get it all but bullets are coppery, the noses were eroded some but I generally nip em back so they don't bang up in the mag anyway-Muddy

Yep it will work fine in it. That what I used

Wash in Dawn, that's what I do, then tumble in Uncle Bens if you are really picky.
Still, I don't get why people don't like moly.

I use a mixture of Dawn and bore cleaner. Works great.

Cause I hate cleaning rifles. A tumble in walnut media will take care of it.

I was worried I'd lose accuracy after 300 rounds.
