Found a pile of wolf 223 brass at the range. Is it any good to reload,or is that the reason it was laying there. Thank you
Wolf brass is made in Russia. Large Quantities brought in during the shortage last few years and load in the states by commercial loaders. Haven't heard about the quality. Sorry I don't have more info. John
If it is BRASS and boxer primed, and there's lots, might be worth scraping it up and test-batching 20 or so cases for weight, concentricity, the usual quality checks.
One of my favorite piles of Lake City is range scrounge. Somebody had an epic shoot and left a mess. Ended up with 230 excellent cases of the same headstamp out of about 250 total.

Wolf brass is made in Taiwan, just like it says on the box.
Wolf brass I've loaded has been as good as any foreign brass I've loaded...
I've even loaded some of their Boxer primed steel 'brass' and it was also pretty
decent stuff...
did so just to test if it was usable in a pinch...
it was... loaded 10 cases 10 times...half with some stout loads...
