Would like to know as I'm thinking about buying a .22-250 Ruger Hawkeye. E
Barnes data shows its okay and maybe it is. I don't know the difference in length between the 50 TTSX and the 53 TSX BT, but the 53 shot very poorly for me in a 1 in 14" barrel.

I'd say its certainly worth a try! I got a 53TSX to stabilize in a 1 in 14 .22-250 just fine, and I notice the stability calculations say to deduct the length of the plastic tip...so I'd say...yeah!

I got the 50 TTSX to stabilize and shoot very well in a 1 in 12 .223AI FWIW....
They shot just under 1/2" in my 1:14 22-250.
I load the 50 gr TSX in my fiances Ruger Hawkeye with a heaping charge of H4895 and it shoots sub-moa all day long.
Yes, it will shoot great!
Thanks everybody. E
I used the older 50gr XLC in a CZ 527 .221 Fireball rifle on a big shoat. Made a 50 cal exit hole. I don't remember the twist but speed is a slow twist's friend! Push it as fast as you can, just to be sure! smile
