Just got a new MEC sizemaster single stage reloader (410) from my wife for Christmas (aint she Great) anyway, where is the best place to get mt hulls for reloading. Also is it better to use 2 and 1/2 inch shells or 3 inch? also any reccomendations for good loads?

I had the same delima. Not a lot of folks shoot .410 seriously, but if ya haunt some of the skeet ranges, quail walks, etc, ya can pick up enough to get ya started. I ended up posting in about a dozen different forums under WTB, bought a bunch from a fella out of Nebraska. Any way, good luck. As far as the 2 1/2" vs 3"--almost all mine have been 3".

Doughboy, I have a wealth of .410 hulls if you are interested. I must have 4-5000 remington SP's. If you'd like I'll go to the post office and get a box and send ya some...see if ya like them.
My experience is a remington wad (sp410) remington 209 primer (or winchester) and about 12.5 gr of lil' gun makes a fine target load with these. STS hulls work good too...as do the new Win AA HS hull...but are a little harder to get ahold of. Forget the Federals....they just aren't durable. I'm reffering to 2-1/2" hulls here. I shoot registered skeet sp 2-1/2 is all we use.
PM me if you are interested....

Scott
