Unless they reset serial numbers, a 5 digit should be a G1....likely with the hammer face mounted firing pin selector (not sure when they switched over to the selector on the top of the hammer).

Correct. All three of mine are G1. One has the selector on top of the hammer. The other two are the old style.

The g2 was never engraved.
