For some unknown reason a remington 788 has been on my mind, I cant shake the thought so lets find one. Would Like it to be in either 7mm08 or 308. Let me know what you got. Thanks

I had one in 243. it was super accurate. I believe because the barrel had a constant taper . not like the pencil thin barrel guns.

I bought a 30-30 on here not too long ago....WOW is all I can say. 1/2” gun at 100 with cheap core loc ammo. I’ve saw several in the calibers you want on gunbroker.

my buddy has a 788 in 6 Remington that he is thinking of selling.

I've got one basically new in fact with original box BUT in 22-250. Had 3 but going different route except for the one I've shot for 40 years and still matches my custom builds for accuracy.
