The 243 catbird; developed by Kenny Jarrett and Jim Carmichael. It will break 4,000 FPS with 60-70gr varmint bullets. Quite a laser!

You could afford to have the barrel recontoured and recrown to make it handier.....

It’s a neat gun. You could remove the break and barrel would still be 24”. The octagon barrel makes it really unique.

You could try the tight patch and cleaning rod method to guestimate the twist rate, and that may help the sale. I like the rifle, overall, just no room in the stable right now!
