I have a LT20 that has a 26” vent rib barrel and screw in chokes. I had it cerakoted a dark burnt bronze and the synthetic stock dipped in natural gear camo. It shoots 2.75” and I believe I have two chokes, a mod and imp but will have to check for sure I can find the one not in the gun.

I haven’t shot it since getting it back last year and only shot it 15-20 times on a dove hunt before. I did purchase it used. I had planned to use it as my turkey gun but have others that fill the void.

Thanks. It looks good. I have done this combo on several. I really like natgear and bottomlands.

Pretty cool.

Any luck finding the extra choke tubes?
Posted By: JSmith62198 Re: Remington 1100 LT20 - 10/16/20
I did. I have a NIB w/choke wrench improved and a modified in the gun.

Thanks sbg. I won’t be mad if it doesn’t sell. May have to get a slug barrel for it if it doesn’t move.

Very nice, I only wish it was a 3".

Oh don’t let 0.25” hang you up lol.

I have one of these and it is a sweet handling gun, it makes we wonder why I ever shot a 12 gauge!

Sweet Jesus that’s nice!!!

I forgot to mention the mag end cap is not cerakoted. I had intended to get one with a sling swivel and haven’t gotten around to it.

As for trades, I would entertain trades on a Tikka Superlight, Roughtech, or a Ruger in a Skeleton stock. Whatever it is, it would need to be an even trade.

Thanks,
J

Up.

Not really looking for trades other than what’s mention. I was selling to help cushion a Nula build so that’s preferred.

Any idea what year this one was made?
Posted By: JSmith62198 Re: Remington 1100 LT20 - 12/07/20
When I get home I will check the barrel code and see. I don’t know right off hand.

The barrel code looks like PP which would make it June 1995. It is a little tough to read with the cerakote but that sounds right.

Thanks I’m thinking hard about it.

Barrel code will only tell you when the barrel was Made for positive as it could have had the barrel changed.
Unless you have had the gun since new and know that it is original.

if the reciever is marked LT-20 and has a sculpted ejection port and long barrel extension then you know it was made after 1977

if you know the barrel is as it came from the factory then you know that it was made in 1986 or later as that is when the Rem choke system was introduced.

With the synthetic stock again assuming it has the original stock it was made in 1996 or later.

With Remington now defunct it is tough to pin the date down exactly.
