A buddy of mine is wanting to trade me a NIB Ruger gunsite scout 308 with laminated stock towards an ATV I have. What do these sale for. And does anyone have any positive or negative thoughts on them? I don’t need another 308 but if I can sale it or trade it I don’t care to take it in to help him out.

I have one and love it. Excellent tree stand and woods rifle.

I have not looked at the market recently, but I do like the rifle a lot...and they sure weren’t discounted much when I got mine about 5 (?) years ago.

I bought a used laminate version a few years back with Lupy scout scope for 750.
Handy gun but didn’t use it sold for same price.

My Son has one.Very accurate ,but too heavy for me.If yours has the detachable 10 shot mag it is selling for over $900.00 new
