Wesson and Harrington Buffalo Classic 45-70 - 11/23/20
I have a Wesson and Harrington (H&R) 45-70 Buffalo Classic for sale. I bought this new when they came out about August of 1995. It has never been hunted and total lifetime round count is going to be 50-60 rounds. It shot very, very well with 300 grain HP and recoil was very mild. I was never man enough to try a 405 grain in it. These came without sights and I bought the Lyman globe with interchangeable inserts. The sight is installed on the rifle and the box and extra inserts are in the rifle box. The rear sight is a Williams peep. These have 32 inch barrels and are very well balanced. I have the "box" (a plastic hard case serial numbered to the gun) as well the white Wesson and Harrington sleeve the gun came in. I am sure in the right light you could find some very light scratches but I didn't see any. The only imperfection noted was light rust spots on the case colored butt plate but I never tried to clean them either. Anyway, I have lived in this house 20 years and it hasn't left the safe all the while I have been here so I doubt you could find one cleaner. I would like $700 shipped to the lower 48 for it.
