I agree with you gents but the matter of fact is it's the OP's rifle and he can ask any price he wants.

Pretty easy to just scoff to yourself about price and move on
Posted By: BobBrown Re: Rem 700 CDL 25-06 - 12/26/20
[bleep] these price gougers . The dust will settle lol
Posted By: KandJ Re: Rem 700 CDL 25-06 - 12/26/20
I’ve got one in 257 WM ss that if I ever sell I’ll ask permission here to ask what I think it’s current value is.
Posted By: Timbermaster Re: Rem 700 CDL 25-06 - 12/26/20
Damn capitalists. We need more group control of pricing. What is that called again?
Posted By: Switch Re: Rem 700 CDL 25-06 - 12/26/20
Gun prices are crazy right now, if you can find them. Most of the retailers are holding the line on prices but a few are really asking over the top prices. Simple supply and demand, a guy can ask any thing he wants and maybe he'll get it. I really love my Fieldcraft 6.5X55 and my 250 Savage 99 saddle rifle, but at the prices I see rifles selling for on GunBroker I'm not sure I really need a $2500.00 deer rifle! I hope the CDL seller gets his ashing price, makes mine worth more. Good luck with the sale!

Do you have a picture of the other one?
Posted By: TrueGrit Re: Rem 700 CDL 25-06 - 12/26/20
Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for the item.
Posted By: HollerCrawler Re: Rem 700 CDL 25-06 - 12/27/20
I'm sure if OP throws it on gunbroker it'll probably bring that easily. Not berating anyone but I've been watching plain jane 700s sale on there for prices that absolutely blow my mind, you could build a couple customs from the ground up for what they're giving for rifles you could buy for $649 - $899 new. Even if they never make another Remington 700 action it isn't like there aren't clones with improvements everywhere anyway.
Posted By: hanco Re: Rem 700 CDL 25-06 - 12/27/20
I have a bunch I need to sell if they bring that!!!
Posted By: gankster Re: Rem 700 CDL 25-06 - 01/04/21
I am watching a Remington Model 870 Express in 16 ga on Gunbroker. It is new in the box and the bid is up to $2000. This is what kind of crazy prices guns are bringing.

Feel free to ask what you want as I will feel free to state it's worth to me. Why should I keep quiet while someone gets ass raped?

Capisce?

Is it your self appointed job to protect everybody you deem in need of your help?

Sounds like a democrat politician. Which office are you running for?

It’s a “for sale” post; not a “what’s it worth” post. Don’t like the price? Move on. Have you seen the prices people are getting on gun broker? Not sure why everyone has decided to [bleep] on this post. And no, this isn’t gouging – it’s not toilet paper. It’s a discretionary item. No one is forcing you to buy at this price. Y’all sound like a bunch of old hens.
Posted By: gunzo Re: Rem 700 CDL 25-06 - 01/04/21
Seller deserves a bump to the top. His price seems to be about inline with those on Gun Broker & Guns International.

I think the psychology has to do with the rifle being something that the people with the derogatory comments would really like to have but then they see a price they’re not willing to pay and their baser instincts prompt them to try to make sure no one buys it by crapping on the post. Classic adolescent behavior.

Depends if one is a Classified Cowboy, such as yourself, or someone shopping for an item such as myself.. Is this your line of work? Your sole source of income? Have a Tax ID, do ya?

Geo, you are out of line, look at the forum rules for the classifieds. You should not criticize another persons ad.

Have you any experience selling on this forum ? I hope if you do, you will get a whipping fun time with the agitators, price setters, low ballers etc.......

😂 why? You concerned Uncle Sam isn’t getting his fair share? Sounds about right.

Couldn’t agree more.

The last time the seller posted something for sale was EIGHT YEARS ago. Hardly classified cowboy material.

Up for the OP
Posted By: GeoW Re: Rem 700 CDL 25-06 - 01/04/21
Actually FB1 I was not the first to complain and as a matter of fact would have said absolutely nothing but after the first couple of post questioning the price and the response from the Classified Cowboys I felt I had just as much right to post whatever in the hell I wanted as the Cowboys were doing the ganging up on the potential buyers.

Up again for the OP.

What?

With the amount of your Free Classified posting not much time left to do anything else. Do I need to post a percentage of your total post count to the Classifieds?

Another bump for OP..

Go ahead. It doesn’t matter as now you are doing the classic adolescent defense mechanism of deflection. You have painted yourself into a corner and since admitting that you were out of line is out of the question, you are trying to attack on a totally unrelated point.

WOW on other sights if you crap on another post you get the boot He has the right to ask what ever he wishes maybe he paid that price for it and wants to recoup his dollars Come on guys be civil Happy New Year
Posted By: 375PigGuy Re: Rem 700 CDL 25-06 - 01/05/21
Bump for this one as it keeps getting hit with too many posts that have nothing to do with the sale.

GLWS, and happy new year.

Bump for a fine rifle chambered in an under appreciated, flat azz shooting cartridge.
