Wanted: 28gr H&R Shotgun

Wanted: 28gr H&R Shotgun - 01/18/21

My son is 8 y/o and had taken a liking to shooting. I need an inexpensive H&R to start him on. My dealer charges an arm and leg for transfers so be gentle.

Thanks, Dinny

Dinny

There was one over on GBO classifieds awhile back. I looked at it last week and it wasn’t marked sold

Time to find another dealer! The cost for doing the transfer around here is $15 to $30. My brother charged most people $15. Luckily he didn't require money from his brothers.

One dealer in my area wants $50 plus 15% of BB value of the item. I'll stick with my current dealer.

Thanks, Dinny

Check the pawn shops. I do my transfers at a local hock shop for $15.

Still looking for a sub $300 28ga shotgun. A H&R/NEF would be perfect for my son.

Thanks, Dinny

All the shippers have raised rates dramatically for shipping firearms. It makes shipping inexpensive guns prohibitive almost.

Interesting considering USPS ships firearms and there doesn't seem to be a special price for them above and beyond standard rates.

I stand corrected, appears as long as you declare it to them and certify its unloaded

So has everyone else who can read the rules.

I don't think that's true. You have to ship TO an FFL or for repair but there's no postal regulation against citizens shipping firearms.
