So, very recently, I bought this Zastava M70 8mm, bolt action rifle. Plans were to to shoot it and have a cool, old commercial Mauser action rifle to hunt deer with(on occasion). I have not yet shot it, but I need to re-coup some funds for a rifle I purchased yesterday!😁

The rifle has a 24 inch barrel with iron sights(hooded front), and weaver bases and rings. I also got a Leupold fixed 8 with an adjustable objective lense. 8x on an 8mm=Cool 😎. It has a clean bolt shroud with the safety located on the right side of the stock(like a 700 style). The floorplate is milled and very nice. The blueing has some scratches, but doesn't look all beat to hell. The stock has a few character marks as well, but doesn't look bad either. Please check pix below. The rifle is not bedded.

All in all, it's in pretty good shape. The bore looks pretty good to me as well. Lands and grooves look good and sharp.

I bought the rifle for $365 and got the scope for $175, so I'm in it for $540.

I'll sell for $540 and I'll cover the shipping. Someone else needs to appreciate this!

How is the bore? Is the barrel original to the rifle?

The bore looks good. Used, but good. Yes, it is the original barrel to the rifle.

More pix of barrel and bore in the link. The bore isn't perfect, but not bad either. I once bought a 6.5x55 with a worse bore and it shot moa, or better. I'm probably putting worry where there shouldn't be any.
