Morning guys and gals,
Like the title says, I have a Cooper Model 52 Classic in 280 Remington, that is up for sale. The gun comes with original paperwork, test target, and box. I have about 70 rounds through her and she is an absolute tack driver. The gun is in perfect condition and has never been hunted minus one scratch in the front of the action in the bluing from my clumsy self. Besides a few load tests, she has spent her life in the safe. I am asking $2,400 plus shipping to FFL. I also have a die set and brass that I would sell with the gun to the buyer if they need it. Please private message me with your interest in the gun and I can email or text over pictures. Just easier that way. I would also consider working out a trade for a 280AI in a stainless all weather package. Thank you for looking!
Pics?
Give me you phone number or email and I will send them to you. Thank you

scope included?
LOP ?
Beautiful rifle
The scope is not included, that I will be keeping. I will measure the LOP when I get home tonight sir.
Nice looking rifle. Wood is way better than the 52 Classic I owned. Had it looked like this one, I might still have it.

Good luck with the sale.
If wishes were horses... I would ride through your garage and grab this smile
Thank you Crimson for posting the pictures I sent you! I am tech illiterate!
Haha Clockwork, I appreciate the compliment!
that stock looks amazing
Good Lord that is a beautiful rifle in an excellent caliber Someone will be a very happy buyer.
The more compliments you guys give the gun the more I am thinking I should keep it! Haha.
I have a Kimber Super America in 280 thats not as nice as this is.
Thank you for the offer GSPfan! I would really like an AI for some odd reason in my head if it doesn't sell outright. Also GSP is my favorite fighter of all time. Before I retired from my MMA career, I was blessed to be able to train with him a few times. Super cool dude and one hell of an athlete!
Barrel length?
Sweet rifle!
24” barrel
Beautiful
Why don't you just have this "improved"? i've been thinking of doing it to my Kimber but honestly I don't shoot it very often. To many rifles and not enough time to enjoy them
I own two model 52’s neither has wood close to this . Beautiful gun.
LOP is 14 1/4"
I have contemplated having it reamed to an AI, but it shoots so damn good as it is, and truthfully I wouldn't be gaining that much. The only reason I have it listed is that it is too damn pretty and I can't get my head wrapped around hunting it and dinging it up. Although..... it is crossing my mind more and more after reading on the thread and by the people that have messaged with interest that I will most likely regret letting this one go. But that, is why I specifically stated "all weather AI', I wouldn't feel bad in the least dinging up a gun that isn't as pretty.
Thank you 35pappy!
Life is to short to hunt with an ugly gun besides thats what sandpaper is for LOL. If I had it I would hunt it.
If you do decide to hunt it something to keep in mind - I had a stock "refreshed" by Cooper a few years ago and the price was extemely reasonabe. Also you could have them fit it with a synthetic for hard use and keep the show-pony stock damage free.

drover
Twist rate?
I did not know that they offered that! Thank you for letting me know that they do refreshes. That is pretty neat that they offer that!
The twist is 1/10
I have the same problem. I either don’t hunt it or put on a Synthetic to save the wood. I’ve sold a few too because I couldn’t hunt them. It’s crazy when you think about it.

Is this correct? Special order? maybe
No mistake, that is from back center of pad to the center of the trigger.
You sell this?
.
Yes I did. Actually traded another member locally for a fine rifle. I forgot to post it. Thanks for the interest!
