Hey guys I know I'm asking a lot here, but I need just a few 375cal 300gr Winchester silver tips. If "ANYONE" has 15 that they can part with please let me know. You guys and gals have really helped me out with these things in the past and I hope someone has a few to spare.

Thanks, Alan

I just have 338 silver tips 250 gr.They have a bad reputation on blowing up on big game very soft
I don't have a 338 but what would you want for them?
I've considered getting a 338JDJ barrel for my TC contender
Sent OP a PM message.

To change the direction-
Have a couple of Winchester/Western Standing Bear 375 H&H boxes of 300 gr SilverTips. They are collector's
Items, however and will go pricey a bit. Readers advise if interested by PM.
How much

CAMOGUY, I am curious as to your purpose for need for these bullets. I ask because I sent, reluctantly, some rare bullets to a man who was in desperate need of that particular bullet, and found out he used them for target practice. If you can tell by the last line, I do have a few squirreled away. I'm not much into selling my unusual stuff, but an equal trade, well now, I might be interested.
Well sir, I'm trying to get 1 whole box of 50 loaded up for my 375JDJ which I have correct head stamped brass for. I actually came across 25 of these bullets back some time ago but until recently I didn't have the correct brass. I usually use Remington 444 Marlin brass to make my JDJs and use Hornady Interlock 270gr bullets to shoot and hunt with. I just love the look of the old silver tips and wanted to put these together to put up with my TC Contender. If you could see fit to help a fellow member with his journey it would be greatly appreciated. Maybe I can help someone else out in the future. I see you have been on 24 Hour a pretty long time. You probably know my father-in-law (ttred1956) Doug. He has been on here for a long time too. He is the one who got me started in Contenders and reloading. Just let me know what you think.

Thanks, Alan

The speer 235 grain shot awesome in my 375 winchester like under an inch at 100 yards .The hornady 220 grain shot 3 inch groups .I tried every bullet I could get from 200 to 300 gain bullets including 300 grain fmj bulkets I loaded as first shot bullets as my camper gun in Alaska .The speer 235 grain bullets were hard but accurate to 200 yards which I got 2 inch groups .I was told if you cut off the front of the 270 grain hornady bullets with a harbor freight chop saw they worked awesome as flat points .
So what can we work out with all this?
