Details on this gun please. Very nice.

This started life as a Winchester 70 308 new version built in Portugal. It was all but new when I purchased it.
I sent it to JES reboring and he turned it into a 338 Federal. While it was there I placed the order with McMillan for the stock.
It is a compact model standard fill black and orange McSwirly.

I began shooting it and determined right away it is a really good shooter. Even with the factory Federal 200 gr fusion load it shoots very good.





Later I found a barrel band front sight and sent the whole works off to have the sight attached, the barrel bobbed at 20.25 inches and then all matte blued.
I purchased a peep sight that attaches to the steel Weaver bases when I remove the Weaver Grand Slam 4.75 fixed power scope.
I think it made up into a very capable and an overall nice package
