Is anyone else having issues shipping gun parts. Trying to do an ar10 build and I have had 3 different parts shipped 3 different ways get lost. Ups, fedex, usps. Barrel, stock, and buffer tube with dies. I have been ordering stuff for 20 years without ever a lost package. To have 3 in a month seems kinda odd. All lost in transit before getting too close. Trying to get resolved, shippers overwhelmed but the issue is the items are no longer in stock so hard telling when or if they will ever ship again. May have to contact creditcard to cancel, hard to contact sellers, act like I ordered a back ordered product just say it is being processed.
I haven't lost a package yet but the US mail and package delivery systems are sure moving slow these days...
Had one package from IL stall out in IL. PO got it to Denver. Today it went to FL. Have a respectful man trying to get it to me. Been about 3 weeks now.
I have a pre 64 trigger and floorplate been stalled for over a week....not sellers fault and won't hold him to it, figured I'd pay post office a visit tomorrow and see if they can help.
12-20 days for USPS priority on several shipments the past month. Yet some make it from Oregon to Florida in 2 days.
Both the Post Office and FedEx have been super messed up for quite a while now.

Yup, and UPS isn't performing so great either.
I have had packages from all carriers sit for weeks and then all of a sudden appear clear across the US., sometimes in the wrong direction. So far all have made it in. Some were pretty rough when they got here though. And it is not just gun parts. Things got a bit better about the middle of January, but no where close to back to normal. I have seen peole still waitibg on packages from November that move for a day or 2 and then sit for weeks more.
I’m currently having a delivery issue also. USPS shows delivered but I haven’t received the item. This happened before and about a week later the item arrived. Amazing how screwed up the usps is right now.
They’re getting about half of our packages right lately... good luck trying to find anyone at the USPS who cares...
UPS lost a S&W 686 barrel I shipped back around Christmas. It never did turn up and their insurance eventually paid for it.
I've been experiencing the worst shipping delays in a long time lately. Especially USPS, but also UPS. Coming and going.
And, had two priority mail boxes from the same sender show up today after being delayed, both empty of their contents.
I work at UPS and that big ice storm that hit a big part of the country really put a big delay on our volume.
It is slowly getting back to normal, but it is hard to tell when things will flow back to normal, if there ever is such a thing....
USPS has a black hole in Southhaven MS, three packages lately have gone right past Arkansas and disappeared there.
I finally got one Saturday that's been missing since Dec 27th. Most of the others have taken the scenic route.

I have one package that I sent over a week ago. Tracking says it's still in Portland. Its insured USPS priority 3 day shipping. Something is going on with the USPS...
I have a package coming from FL, spent 3 days in Ft Lauderdale now has been in Memphis for over 5 days.
The main ups and us postal distribution centers ate by my parents house .If you saw the hudlums working there and where it's at you would totally understand .I swear they stealimg guns and parts for themselves .I went to the gun show this weekend it was full of gangs

Exactly my experience as well. Something is weird.
And they want a government bail out!
They are overpaid as it is!
The most socialist of government entities shows why it doesn't work.
I have had 2 day priority packages in the system for 2-3 weeks over the past month.
FedEx no doing any better. I have a package that was due Wednesday will be 2 weeks and it's not here. Sat in Memphis for 9 days.
Several of my USPS packages are taking longer than usually.
USPS is experiencing the worst delivery times in history. At least from my perspective the packages flow pretty good until they hit Memphis; here they sit for days before processing through. I've had 4 packages last month that sat in memphis for a week before moving!
I’ve had my best luck with ups. The post office is about 50/50 as far as delays and getting stuck somewhere. The post office seems to not GAF part of the time. I sent a mail pac from Florida to Minnesota and it took three weeks.
Some Fedex drivers are too lazy to drive to the house to deliver if it's a small package, they put it in my mailbox, and say they left it at the front door.
I sent 2 small flat rate boxes of 500 each lead cast bullets to Wa. the same day. The bullets were inside a sealed tyvek bag inside the small flat rate box and both boxes arrived same day and both boxes were empty of the 500 bullets and tyvek bags? Might happen to one box but not 2. The USPS has a thief working for them in that PO. AND what a PITA to try and collect insurance.

I had UPS deliver a case of hard to find rifle ammo to a member on here. It showed delivered but he couldn't find it. He finally found it in the snowbank near the end of his driveway.
Ups credited the seller for the barrel, but now they don’t have any in stock so it is stuck in processing. Can’t tell me when it will ship, can’t refund my money because it is in processing. The other items have not been long enough to make a claim yet, but sure looks like they have just disappeared. Anybody know what happens to packages found after a claim has been paid? Do they get returned to sender, delivered, or are they now property of ups because they paid the claim.
I had a priority mail box that was sent to me that tracked fine to the point of it being out for delivery. Yay!
Next notification said insufficient address, returned to sender.
I got the box the next day. Nuff said.

I had a barrel "disappear" from the UPS facility in FL. They said "they just can't find it" so I refunded the guy his money, opened a claim and haven't heard a peep since. No refund, no communication, nothing. I think they try to make it so complicated that you just give up.

My experience, exactly. Bought some bullets here. The box arrived empty but had very little reinforcing so not completely the fault of the PO. Only $45 but the PO had no interest at all in paying the insurance. Not because of the packaging but because I did not properly confirm the value of the contents. A copy of the cancelled check apparently was not good enough for them. I ended up eating the $45.
I have a package that was sent on Feb 13 , then on Feb 17 the notice says" in transit arriving late".
That is the last tracking notification.
Most of them are a cluster right now. I've had stuff coming from FedEx, UPS, and USPS that have been slow or stuck at some point along the way over the last 4 to 5 months.
I know the FedEx guy (our kids are friends) and the UPS guy (when to high school with him) that deliver to our house....used to know the mail lady but she retired and I don't know the new one.....anyhow, the FedEx and UPS guys will talk to me for a couple of minutes while they're handing me stuff.....we do get a lot of deliveries. They say the number of packages is just beyond the capacity to handle as timely as they used to. You can only fit so many lbs of sugar in a 5 lb sugar bag.....they've had to hire new drivers and are renting moving trucks and vans to make some of the deliveries. I know they've shown up in plain white moving trucks at our house a couple of times.
They think a lot of it is due to online shopping increase once covid had places shutting down, of course Christmas was a boom like always except it was almost all online this year. Those two things along with the extra $ from "stimulus" checks that people are spending have made it a perfect storm.
I have been waiting on a die for almost 2 months. According to the USPS tracking it has been in Memphis since Jan 24th.
Well I guess I’m not the only one then.😀
There is hope. I sent a flat rate mailer from SE Minnesota to Wyoming on December 8th. It finally arrived on February 4th. 4 days short of two months. What service????
I have a rifle that's supposed to be on the way to my FFL, hasn't updated since the 23rd.
I've had 4 packages come from Midway USA all the way to the Olympic Peninsula in NW Washington in the last 10 days. All came USPS. All showed about a 8 day estimated time of arrival when I ordered and 2 made it here in 2 days and the other 2 made it in 3 days. I was just shocked.
I’m currently having a delivery issue also. USPS shows delivered but I haven’t received the item. This happened before and about a week later the item arrived. Amazing how screwed up the usps is right now.
I worked at a PO twice in my life... at Christmas times...once in college, and when I first got out of the Army...
Was always put on loading dock, due to my size and ability to pick up heavy stuff...
This is back in the 70s, and it was SOP, that after so much time on the loading dock....( they allowed one day, 24 hours, and then supervisors would be answering to Postal Inspectors) so if it wasn't going to make it off the loading dock with that 24 hour period, they'd throw it on the very next truck, regardless of where it was going, just to get it off the dock...
In college, I worked at a PO in Massachusetts, and after getting out of the Army, I worked at a PO in Everett WA...
