Something inexpensive will do. I'm not giving $400 for a pile of parts. 224-6mm. Think Savage 219/20, 23 B, C, D, 788, Savage 99etc. You
get the message. Thanks, powdr
I have a 1909 Argentine mauser action with a 24 inch chrome moly 9 twist 6.5x55 brownells barrel on it. 2 position wisner safety and bolt handle done. Also drilled and tapped and leupold bases and rings installed.

Will need blued or coated and a trigger added. Headspacing is done and i shot a couple groups to make sure it was good.

I have a bunch of money in it but if you wanna put a trigger on it and find a stock and have it finished you'd have quite a nice rifle.

Would make ya a good deal
Buy dirty range pickup brass. clean it up and process it and sell it for big bucks.

Make boocoo money
I know what you mean.I just started a build on a #1 action. I'm in the hospital and have been buying bullets so when I get out I can begin reloading for a couple of newer rifles and get to the range when I'm able. Shooting will be my therapy in more ways than one.
I have a mauser mounted with a 22BR no-turn neck. Only project would be mounting a scope and load developement, then finding the woodchucks of course
We've got a Country to Save..

I have a Siamese Mauser action and bottom metal I could part with. Everyone likes a new 45-70 build... make it as nice or generic as you want.

This is one rifle I sold many, many years ago and have regretted ever since. Those Siamese Mausers in 45-70 were excellent shooters!

powdr,
I've got a Savage 219 that was originally in .22 Hornet. Now it's in .22/.30-30. If that is of interest then message me for details.
Jerry/AK
Does it have a scope base on it? powdr
Yes. and a Luepold 2.5x, matte finish. Message me your email if you want pics.
Also correction: it is chambered in .22/.30-30 Improved.
Saw a 788 for sale somewhere that was in tact, maybe on here?
