I've been shooting one of these in 30-30 and it was under an inch with the second load I tried. The forend wood on the one I'm shooting is a great looking piece......it's buttstock is rather plain though. I wish I had the buttstock from this one!

Good question, I contacted Henry Arms, as soon as they reply, I’ll post their answer. I think it will, they have other center fire single shots that generate more pressure than the 45-70.

Not selling because I don’t like it, got a Jeep project that needs some funds. The only thing I would like different is a more traditional blue job instead of the dull matte finish. It would be hard to top the wood in the stocks, that’s for sure.
