Meh, not true...they still have pretty good deals in the clearance section. I'm a cheap bastard, but I have spent more at Midway this year than the last 5+ years combined..

buying a blemished scope just don't seem right especially for this kind of money.

easier to buy a POS used one, hit it with a hammer, send it back and get a new one or even an upgrade if the POS is no longer made.

Midway has not been the same since Larry Potterfield stepped down. Guy named Matt Fleming is now running it. Potterfield is still chairman of the board but Fleming is running it. That is probably one of the reasons that it all appears to be different now. I think Fleming has been calling the shots for a while now although not officially announced until early this year.
