This was shot for one service rifle match as part of a NRA sanctioned club workshop on Service Rifle Competition. First time I ever shot an AR in competition, or any target and after pre-match sight-in; I placed 3rd out of about 35 competitors. It was a 200yd reduced range course, but smaller bulls. The upper shot superb. Never fired again, I had no time for travel or practice...
This is from the 90's to 10's era Armalite. Has A2 receiver and iron sights, Heavy National Match 1:8 twist 20" stainless barrel, with Service Rifle float tube under the A2 plastics. Barrel is not threaded for flashider etc. Comes with orig bolt carrier group, complete. A2 front sight. Pretty much kept stored in plastic sleeve since the match except for occasional oiling. Might be a contact mark or two on the receiver anodizing. Ready to shoot high scores for your upon arrival. $945 shipped by Prioirity mail w/full insurance.
Also can offer a genuine Armalite flat top upper with ejector door installed. Bought this from Brownells thinking of converting the carryhandle upper to flat-top, but never did. Available to whoever buys the upper for $125.
