We're having a high school graduation party for my daughter in a few weeks. She's been home schooled and has met all requirements to graduate. She also has more than half of the credits required for her Associates Degree.

I'd like to buy her a very nice but functional fixed blade knife. Prefer blade length around 3.5" in a hunter style, but I'm open to useful designs. She is right-handed with small/medium sized hands. She's not a girly-girl but a feminine touch wouldn't be objectionable. I'd like it to be attractive and well-executed, and expect it will be used on her elk hunt in November. Prefer new/like-new. Budget is flexible based on the knife.

Please let me know what you have and your asking price, as well as pictures. PM is fine.

Thanks in advance, all!
I have a couple that are just about done. Let me know if you are interested in any of these.

First one is a cannister damascus blade made from 5200 ball bearings and 1084 powdered steel. Scales are snakeskin juma. Will com with a leather sheath

Definitely check with VinceM, he's got some really nice blades available right now. I bought a Dozier from him for my nephew and it was as smooth a transaction as could be.
This guy makes very nice knives, and takes custom orders.

Call up Bark River or Rapid River knife works. Both places make great gear. Can get it custom made.

Tim Olt(michiganroadkill here on the Campfire) makes excellent knives...at a very reasonable price in my opinion.

Tim did this one for me last Winter. I’m more than happy with it! S35VN stainless, Sambar stag handle, full-grain leather sheath. Just a rugged and beautifully executed knife. Blade is scary sharp! Very much like a Randall made knife, but without the wait. Also, much better steel(in my opinion) and at 1/4 to 1/3 the price of a Randall.

See his post above....give him a call.

Thank you all again for the recommendations. I have a few great candidates and I'm working on asking the kid veiled questions to help make the right choice.
