I have reached the age to where it is time to start selling off some rifles to make things easier for those that I will leave behind, I will be selling items from time to time over the next few months. In order to get used to the idea of selling them off I will start by selling one that has never been fired outside of the factory.

Cooper Varmint Extreme - 25th Anniversary Model 21 - 223 Rem
One of only 25 made for the Cooper 25th Anniversary.

The rifle is absolutely as perfect as the day it left the factory - no marks anywhere on the rifle.

I personally picked the wood for this one. IMO it was the best piece of wood on any of the 25 made.

Features:
AAA wood
Crossover grip panel checkering
Grade 2 engraving (receiver, bolt shroud, trigger guard, exposed screw heads)
High polish blue action / bolt shroud / trigger guard
High polish bolt handle
VE brass insert in bolt handle as in early original Varmint Express models
Checkered bolt knob (3-panel)

Neidner steel buttplate
24" Stainless match grade barrel
Special serial number - CFM21 19-25 for the Anniversary series
Leupold scope bases
Unfired outside of factory test firing

Factory box (inner and outer) with label showing options
Factory test target
Owners manual
25th Anniversary factory catalog

$3250 shipped and insured to your FFL.

Lots of other pictures available.

Per the Cooper build sheet on their website it would cost $7250 to replicate a rifle similar to this one even without the 25th Anniversary connection. The price I am offering it for is $645 less than a basic Varmint Extreme without any upgrades.

Drover: Whoaaa.... now that stunning Rifle makes me wish i were not broke!
Good luck with your sale.
I just bought a used Cooper MT-V for over half that money and it is not 1/5th as beautiful as your Rifle!
And this, if you take any more pictures of the Rifle could you show the bolt handle with the "VE insert".
TIA

That's a remarkable piece of lumber, GLWTS and with thinning the herd, can't be easy to let that go.
7" twist to shoot the 90s I assume, right? smile

Here is a shot of the VE emblem and the action engraving on the front of the receiver. Sorry for the poor quality cellphone pictures they don't do justice to the rifle.

Fantastic rifle and a great price.
Drover: Thank you for that excellent photo.
It is appreciated.
That is a stunning Rifle with wonderfully appealing attributes!
Again, I am sick that I have been buying pistols like a mad-man and broke!

Hi Drover- I’m new to this website but came across it in my search for a 25th anniversary rifle. I’m a Washington/Idaho native, and I would happily buy the rifle if it is still available.
Best- Adam
…happy to also discuss any other Cooper rifles you might be looking sell.

Wow...that is beautiful!

Let me know when you thin out your 22 collection.

You probably have something I need and I just don't know it yet.

The only 22 I have left is my Cooper Jackson Hunter and I am not sure that I will ever sell it, but should I decide to I will let you know.

Thanks, drover
