Man I hate to be ignorant, but I guess I am on this. What material is the factory trigger guard made from?

Originally they were out of stainless and heavy for a lightweight gun, They caught wind of mine and started making them out of aluminum, not sure when that happened.

How much weight does your guard save over the factory Stainless part??

factory stainless= 2.496 oz
my aluminum= .928 oz

do these fit on a Kimber Classic as well?

I'm not sure, if your original resembles the photo of mine, it should, but if it has the lever for releasing the floorplate in the trigger guard itself, I don't think it will.
If you could upload a picture of yours I could better answer that.
