Have gotten some leads and a couple nice rifles offered for consideration but haven't made a deal yet. So I'm expanding my considerations.
Want to buy Winchester M70 Featherweight in 243 or 270 Winchester. Would consider a Stainless Classic, Blued Classic or an XTR. Doesn't need to be perfect. I'm ok with some marks on the wood (or plastic stock). Some wear on the metal finish is fine but no rust please. Must be some period of New Haven production with a red recoil pad and 2 piece bottom metal.
