Duplex reticle.

Scope has a 1” tube, a 40mm objective and an M1 elevation knob (MOA).

Tube has some extremely faint ring marks that are hard to see. Glass is perfect.

Scope was on a 17 HMR. It was then cleaned and inspected by Leupold and given a clean bill of health. It has not been on a rifle since.

Leupold is no longer installing M1’s like this, so here’s an opportunity if you’re looking for one.

Can you make elevation adjustments at any magnification range or does it need to be at a set magnification?

It appears you're confusing adjustments with ballistic reticles in second focal plane scopes. Adjustments are independent of magnification.
