Just curious? Why would you fell the need to post this?

He’s the OP. He’s simply saying he’s seen some with better wood.

That’s my problem with beautiful rifles like this. I’m afraid to use them as intended.

Being honest instead of posting bullscheit about what I’m selling?

“Nicest wood I’ve ever seen on one of these, grade xiv krieghoff walnut!”
That better?

I’ve kept a few standard grades over the years and all shot really well. Have a .22WMR I carry a good bit. My go to Turkey gun.
That's a beauty!

Damn!
Very, very nice!
I have a standard medallion in 22 that has killed uncounted squirrels and birds. Fantastic rifles. But, it would be hard to use it as intended when it's as pretty as yours!

My understanding was there were only grade 1 and gold medallions, other than the laminated stock version? Is yours engraved?

I learned something new tonight! No engraving, so it must be grade 1
A lot of them had as nice of wood as the one I’m selling.
This would make a great Christmas present for your wife.
Gorgeous
Nice!

What is the trigger pull weight? Crisp or Creep?

Had to go see. I’m guessing 3-3.5 lbs. No creep, very crisp.
Trigger is easy to adjust though. Did it on my .22wmr
$1,750.00
Yours is much nicer than mine.

One session.
Bump for the holiday.
Dang. I’m currently looking for a bolt 22, but this one is too nice to chop off at 16” and thread!

Oops! I goofed. I did not realize he was the OP, but it is truly gorgeous.
$1749.99.
Would trade plus cash if necessary for an Anschutz 1710 D HB.
Hey is the 22 still for sale?
Yes
Right on 👍 what do you want for it? No scope or rings correct?
Rings and bases go with it and one 5-rd magazine
No scope, $1,700 is the best I can do.
You can’t do 1500 for it? I’ll pay shipping so like 1550-1560

Sorry, I can’t. It’s been sitting a long time so I’m more gauging interest than need to sell.
That’s a beautiful rimfire dude. A fella lookin’ for that particular model will likely never run across another in that kinda exquisite shape in his entire lifetime.

Thanks man!
I’d be able to do 1600 shipped that’s the top end of what I’m willing to do.

Forgot about this til I found the box and a spare mag today.
With original box, extra NIB 5rd mag and I’ll throw in the Japan Nikon 4x40mm, $2,100.00 shipped.

Not my problem. I love using rifles like this. It's when someone else goes shooting with me, that I may leave this one at home, or feel guilty about saying, "be very careful with this one"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice rifle GLWS I have one of these It took years to find one as nice as yours. Sure would not take it thru the briar patch hunting squirrels or bunnies. A matured clean timber yes.
There’s few available. Don’t see the value doing anything but going up.
Beautiful rifle. I see oeiginally no scope 1 mag you came down to 1700 then original box extra mag and scope we went to 2100 shipped. What is the price without the scope shipped?
$2,000. Mag is worth $150, scope is worth at least $150 and box is worth $$ to a collector.
Well this should go over well what payment methods do you accept? Are you shipping from ffl to my ffl or can you ship direct to my ffl? im not sure of the laws in VA.
