First, this is not mine and I am helping a family member sell it. I will handle the transaction and the rifle is in my possession. Savage 99CD in 7mm-08. EXTREMELY clean and I wish there was the box for it but there isn't. The rifle has never had a scope mounted on it and retains the front sight hood. There is some minor "buggering" on the toe of the factory rubber butt plate as pictured. The clip is NOT marked 7mm-08 but I don't know if they were when originally produced. No chips, cracks and very few, very minor scratches from it limited time in the woods. I believe you would be hard pressed to find one cleaner.
If you want it post on here and follow up with a PM. The rifle will ship (with insurance) from me a private party to your FFL so please make sure they will accept it that way. Payment by check of any kind. Hopefully the pictures answer any questions, but if not let me know and I can take more. $1975 shipped and insured to the Lower 48.

Not to be critical, but the barrel stamp looks like 99C, not 99CD. 99Cs were the only 99s cataloged in 7mm08.

You very well may be right. I assumed (ha ha) that is what a C (clip) D (Deluxe checkered) but I am not a 99 guy.

99CD stocks have a raised cheekpiece and they were only cataloged in 243, 250, and 308.

Thankfully an HVA1640 that came home today means I can't do something really dumb here... but I'll sure live vicariously for a minute or two through whoever snags this! 😇😂

As I have already told you in private. I have the rifle, a day EARLY I might add. GREAT job packing it for the journey, Your pictures did not do it justice. I can't imagine this rifle ever seeing much use, if any. It is drop dead beautiful and I consider myself lucky to have found it along with a great person to do business with. Thank you, Rob.
