Friends

I have just completed a run of .44 Special 240 grain Keith style lead Semi Wadcutters.

The last ones sold quick like always, so I acquired more components. and made another batch this weekend.

The brass is Starline. This is a very nice load and the velocity specs are as follows:

Velocity from my 4" M629 average : Exactly 800FPS

7.5" Flattop OM BH average 880 FPS.

25 yards 6 shots:

15 yards with my 4"

FULL DISCLOSURE

(there are only 5 shots in this pic. I walked up and saw the group and chickened out, not firing the 6th shot, as I have a habit of throwing one shot every time..)

Price includes shipping and insurance.

It is $115 per 100 rounds to your door, which after S&I works out to about $45 per box of 50.

They will come packaged in either 50 or 100 round hard side plastic ammo containers for their protection and for your later use, re-use.

* No, I don't sell them in boxes of 20. The shipping (not to mention packaging) is so costly that it makes no sense to do so .

Post the amount you want followed with a PM, so I can keep track please.

I have 1,200 rounds available at the moment. ( I have more produced, I am just waiting on the plastic ammo boxes)

I take Venmo, USPS Money order, or checks (once cleared by the bank). I do not take paypal.

Please post the amount you want followed by a PM.

You have to be 21 since it is handgun ammo. Will only ship to places where legal and it is your responsibility to know your local laws. No shipping to restricted states or jurisdictions. CONUS only, and I do not ship to, MA, DC, CT, CA or other locations with restrictions.

Hey brother; looks like you make some quality.44 ammo. I handload my own also. Just a tip: I store most of my .44 cartridges in vacuum sealed Food Saver bags. Some people don’t need (or even want) plastic cartridge boxes. You could potentially yield more profit for yourself, and a small discount for your customers if you went with the vacuum bag option. Food for thought!
1,100 rounds remain!

I'll take 100
700 rounds remain!

(At least until I get more boxes in!)
Would these be ok for a Charter Arms bulldog?
If your Bulldog is is good mechanical working order, I don't see why not.

If you read the velocity specs, using the 4" Model 629 they are not hot rodded Elmer Keith and the ".44 Associates" style loads.

That said, if you are merely looking for some easy shooting ammo, I do have 100 (AND ONLY 100) rounds of .44 Russian 185 grain hard cast (this works in any .44 Mag/Special chambered gun)

Here is a thread on it:

Ridiculously accurate.

Like I said though,

I have only ONE single box left, and do not have any components on order at this time.

Read the thread and if you want them (or the Specials), feel free to PM me

Thanks

They’ll be fine in your Bulldog. I load a 250 gr WFN LBT Hard Cast bullet with 8 grains of Unique in mine. Pretty much the same ballistics.

I actually really appreciate the cartridge box for storage and will reuse it when these are gone and I reload the brass.

Gentlemen

The new boxes have arrived.

I currently have 12 - 100 round boxes (1,200 rounds) available.

It will be a bit before I do another run of .44 Special again, just FYI, as I have a few other cartridges on deck to be produced.
