You forgot North Dakota…which is probably the location based off of assumption being a bigger location.

I am going to guess Fargo, ND. At 1500 for the package that sure seems like a screamin deal.......the ammo alone has to be worth $400.
GLWYS.

I guess ND, but I've been wrong before, so just watch the movie.

There is only one "Fargo" that can be discerned without using the name of the State. Seeing as your list is alphabetical, you used a search tool to look up your list. Seeing as you omitted the obvious location from your list you must be being obtuse on purpose. Seeing as you are in Texas and there is no Fargo near you, the driving distance isn't a matter to you anyways...

If I said Pittsburg no one would wonder if I was talking about a city in Kansas. If they did I would know they have no interest in my rifle.

GLWYS.

At over $50 a box currently, plus the dies, plus the fact that you cannot buy one of these anywhere for under about 3K (minus the ammo), yes, it is a very good deal.

obtuse?

If you said Pittsburg, I would assume Kansas. I live just outside Pittsburgh, PA, and everyone who is from here would spell it with the H on the end. The one spelled the way you spelled it is in Kansas, which most people around here know as well. Turns out there are few in other states too, but none as well knows an KS.

Keeping you up top for a good deal though smile

I suppose if a guy drove up to Fargo the price could be $1,400??
I just received back surgery and am. It driving for a while. Fargo’s not that far away.
Posted By: prose Re: Marlin 1895 - 02/07/22
No it would cost me about 35-50 bucks to ship this. At my asking price crediting 35 bucks is about all I'd do.
Posted By: t185 Re: Marlin 1895 - 02/25/22
I will take the rifle, bullets etc for $1500
Sending PM

On a side note. I knew excatly which Fargo you were referring to laugh

Offer withdrawn

Seller sold 6 1/2 boxes of the ammo listed in the ad and only offered a $100 credit

Bad form on the seller there.

Bust a deal and face the wheel. Not honest at all.

Avoid this guy! I will be.

Jeepers, the dude with 93 posts has his gun/ammo ad running for 3+ weeks, drops his asking price $400, gets into a silly argument instead of just answering a simple question, finally gets the long awaited “I’ll take it”, and then he blows the sale by splitting up the loot and not telling anyone.

GLWYS!!!

Well I let my listing sit idle for 3 weeks with no activity because I decided to keep my gun.

I told him that I decided to keep my gun.

Gave him the “I don’t want to sell it price” then mentioned that I sold some ammo. My mistake for having that out of order but he lost his shorts immediately. I didn’t expect him to agree to the price but felt like I ought to be cordial as my post was still technically active(so are 40,990 other posts).

He wanted a deal. I wasn’t giving him one and told him directly without mincing words.

Didn’t work out. A man moves on. Go clean the Cheeto dust off your fingers and let your moms know everything is okay. Keyboard warriors can go to sleep now.

This was entertaining to read.
Posted By: old_boots Re: Marlin 1895 - 02/27/22

Why would a person sell their ammo stash and then decide to keep the rifle ? That makes no sense to me considering how things are now...

In any case the ad should have been updated to reflect the change immediately...

So deduct his stated value of the ammo from the price of the package and now have a new updated price...

That was easy.
Posted By: t185 Re: Marlin 1895 - 02/27/22
You never said that you decided to keep your rifle. I sent you a PM if the rifle was available and your reply was $1500 firm which I agreed too.

Only AFTER I inquired about where to send payment did you let me know that you sold the ammo.
