For sale is a 1977 Ruger 77 tang safty 220 swift with sporter weight barrel.

Its been used but not abused. A thin spot of bluing on top of the barrel that is hard to get a pic of. Some light scratches and a dent or two in the wood. I can take some specific pics if someone asks.

Shoots very well. You don't see many sporter Swifts, its a neat rifle but I just don't use it.

Scope and bipod not included bit bit scope could be purchased with it
Asking $1250 shipped

Thanks
You’re selling some cool stuff. Bump
If it shoots close to what my old HB Varmint did, someone will be elated to own this.
I had interest in a swift. Bought a heavy barrel and sold it.
Yours is nice looking glws
Sporter weight barreled Swifts are fairly rare indeed!
Thanks for the kind words guys.

I've not seen many sporter Swifts and considering this thing is 45 years old, it's it pretty fair shape. 52 grain SMKs and 4064 shoot really well out of it.

I've got some brass that can go with it too.
Let's try 1200 shipped with all fired brass included (probably 75 pieces)

I'll make a great deal to the buyer on a bunch of new remington brass as well
What's the length of barrel on this setup?
It's got a 24" barrel
Back up now that you boys are drinking

I have the same exact rifle, my first centerfire to be exact. Mine loves W760 as well as 4064.

Nice rifle, and good luck with the sale.
That was the first gun I ever owned bought back in 78. Shot a lot of critters with it and accuracy was very good. Someone is going to to get a very nice rifle.

John
That's funny.

My first centerfire rifle was a sporter barreled flat bolt Swift. I killed everything I hunted with it for years. I foolishly traded it for another rifle when I was about 20.

I bought this because it was as close to my first rifle as I could find.

But it just gathers dust, seems like I always reach for something else these days.

Back up, $1200 shipped for the rifle, fired brass and die set.

I'll make a screaming deal on a bunch of new RP brass to the buyer as well
