I put in a wrong amount claim with PayPal. I don't forsee getting it back but at least it ties it up on his end. He wasn't to happy with that.

You dont know much about paypal. You cant use them for a firearm purchase. They will shut your account down if you even think about it.

At this point I don’t think he cares, it will tie up the money and the scammer will never get the money..

File with your credit card company. I bought a few things that were not delivered, PayPal refused to refund my money. The credit card company took care of it. I still have PayPal so they were not to mad.

Did you pay with your card through PayPal? I've got mine linked but just used the funds in the account.

My account was hacked here and on another site yesterday morning.

We recovered it quickly after it was discovered.

He tried to sell a Seiko watch on the other forum.

Absolutely no idea how he pulled it off but happily that deal didn't go through.

Admin on the other site said the IP jumped all around the country.

I was thinking that this forum should almost implement an expiring password system. Not sure it would help, but it couldn't hurt, besides the annoyance factor.
