.44 Special 240 Grain Hard Cast Semi Wadcutters

I have 10-100 round boxes of 240 grain Hard Cast Semi Wadcutters.







These are produced in new Starline brass. Velocity as tested with my 5" M29 was exactly 900 FPS.

I had some requests for a bit warmer .44 Special load, and here it is. This was fine tuned and I found the spot where the accuracy and velocity really came together.

Here are two-5 shot groups at 25 yards, shot using my 5" Model 29 Classic:




Frankly I don't think there is a Whitetail or Mule Deer or any other medium type game around that is going to brush off a 240 SWC at 900 FPS with this types of accuracy. Most likely this is pushing 1K FPS in 7.5" barrels.

Anyways, I have 10 boxes available.

These are $115 per 100 round box, as always that is shipped and insured.

I received my allotment of 200 yesterday and can't wait to poke some holes in stuff with them.

If you do a run of comparable loads for the .45 LC, I'd be looking at a couple hundred to feed my S&W 25 and 625MG.
