Very good condition, everything works as it should, comes with it's own custom wiping stick ramrod with cleaning jag installed and short starters built into the knob, load and shoot 530gr no excuse bullets all day without wiping with black powder, 500 bucks shipped, dont do paypal etc, money order or personnel check is fine.

Thanks TMitch, yes they are, up to 120gr 2F black is surprisingly easy to shoot under the 530gr No Excuse conical, recoil is not near what i had expected, a patched round ball load would no recoil.
I have one of these and it is surprisingly accurate. 80 grains of FFF and a patched round ball, I can usually keep three shots touching at 50 yards off a rest. Good luck in your sell.

I forget the load now, but I was using my 54 Scout Pistol in a bowling pin shoot at the black powder club I belonged to back then. I was asked to stop because I was damaging the bowling pins too much! The guys with their cap n ball guns didn't like it. Used it for handgun hunting here in IL as well.

Yep Hoss, with steady rest it's plenty accurate, and with No Excuse conicals being a bit under bore size and made of pure lead, they load easy and bump up on ignition, great bullet, more so in rifles with the extra speed.
It's a fun pistol Spark and DA, and does lay a hell of a whop on stuff, i'm 60 and just clearing out a few things i don't have time to use often enough, funny how much a man accumulates over the decades.
