348 Win.

Sorry I thought that was the only chambering.

Browning 71s were offered in 45-70 and 33 Win??
That's news to me, I never heard that they were chambered in anything other than 348 Win.
If you decide to sell I’m interested.
Handy rifle, free bump.
All the browning 71 were 348. Some, like rarer than hens teeth win 71s were made in 45-70 and 33 win
Super rare.

My same exact thoughts. Bump for a great carbine and a great cartridge!
Browning's are 348. Have read about some Winchester's in 45-70, but have never seen one nor know of any to be seen. Never heard of one in .33 win, Winchester 1886's yes, 71's no.

Thatd be news to me as well. I do know, however, that 348 carbine will make an elk drt!
Harley I have never seen one but multiple sources, books and magazines have confirmed that the indeed made a very few 71s in 45-70 and even fewer in 33 win. Besides the written word I have seen a few WTB ads out there from top end winchester collectors places for both calibers.

BTT
Would also consider
* Ruger No. 1s in 30-06 or 9.3x62
* CRF Bolt rifle in 9.3x62
PM to you
Spence, same here, back in the day you could order anything and I'm sure like some of us, if we worked at the factory and had the opportunity one would build what you wanted. Seems of lately people must be sitting on their 86's in 45-70, or locally anyways, as all I've been seeing is a flood of .33's. Mine is an experienced 86 once owned by an Adirondack guide along with a Marlin 1895 in .33 as well, along with a Win 95 in 30-40. Those guns mean more to me than my real nice examples.
