I have a 760 that has an after-market stock with hand checkering and oil finish. It comes with a 760 magazine and a 742 magazine. Both magazines work well. The 742 magazine prevents the action to close when empty. The fore arm has a little damage but does not interfere with function. I'd like $750 shipped to the lower 48. The rifle comes with a 4x Redfield scope - simple crosshairs

What are the barrel codes for manufacture date?

Barrel code AA - January 1950 - I believe January 1950 was an anomaly for their date codes. Usually A for month means March.

The stock has an oil finish. I have an extra fore-end that's like new that I'd add for $40 -it's a different style (early) I bought it here on the fire. But the one that's on it works well and the oil finish is good. Both magazines work well. These are the only two loads I've tried in it.
30-06 Remington 760, 165 grain Rem CL, 54.7 grains IMR4350, .4" at 54 yards or 0.71 MOA
30-06 Remington 760, 130 grain TTSX Barnes, 56.2 grains IMR4350, 0.578" at 54 yards or 1.02 MOA

The price shipped w.o. scope but with two magazines $620. One magazine is for a 742, but it functions fine, the only difference is the follower will stop the bolt from going forward when there is no shells in the magazine.

This rifle has a hand rubbed oil finish walnut stock - after market - with hand cut checkering. It shoots very well. The only issue i know of, is the crack in the fire arm - which doesn’t affect function.

Maybe I took poor pictures. I will take it out in the sun light and take more photos. The stock is very nice, I believe.
