I have a 1961 Colt Frontier Scout, and a 1975 Colt New Frontier Buntline for trade.
I can't make pics work here, too big.
I can either send a couple via e-mail or guide you to a site that has the pics.

I'd be interested in trading for a:

pre 64 Winchester model 70
series 70 Colt 1911
Remington-Rand/Ithaca/Colt/SA/etc. 1911s
S&W revolvers
Savage 99
BAR
May consider other vintage handguns, or rifles.

Will trade either revolver or both for the right gun, and can add cash for the right deal, just lookin to trade out of a couple of guns I don't shoot.
I've never even shot the Scout, bought it from an old trapper, and it was too nice to carry.
Don't think he was much of a trapper, the gun shows very little use. LOL

Both of the revolvers are in very good condition, not collectors, but you wouldn't be embarrassed to take them to the range.
Very faint turn lines.
The frontier Scout is all steel, no box/papers/tools with either revolver.

PM for info, or directions to the pics.

I'm surprised there's not more interest in these revolvers.
Everybody needs a 22 revolver, I have nine. LOL
Is the frame of the Scout color case hardened?
Shrap, I may be wrong, but I think only the Peacemaker and New Frontier were cch....
have a 1961 vintage Frontier Scout and the frame on it is an alloy (aluminum??), I do not recall ever seeing a FS with a steel frame.

They are neat little pistols - a 7/8 scale, light and mine is very accurate

Good luck with the sale

I have dealt with Panhead face to face several times and he is one of the GOOD GUYS so deal with confidence!
Have a cash price or trades only?

Understood, but I have seen a Peacemaker called a scout. If it is a Peacemaker, I am interested...
I've been back and forth, its not a peacemaker, it is a scout,im guessing a P model, but would still be an alloy version. I did think there was a steel framed version, but I'm not seeing it. It is all blue
Says Frontier Scout 22 LR on the Barrel.
I messed up on the year, it's a 1962.
The frame is not case hardened, it is blue.

I'm also just guessing about the frame material, but all of the alloy framed Scouts that I have seen have had a silver colored receiver.
I know, that doesn't mean diddily squat!
Now I've been known to be wrong(LOL), but I'm not about to take a file to it to find out.

I think at the end of the serial number is an F, not a P.

So, if I'm wrong, and it's an alloy frame instead of a steel frame, it's still a mighty fine revolver.

I'm more of a wood guy than a metal guy, but a magnet sticks to it, so in my humble opinion it's steel.

No cash price, I like to trade, sorry.

Jim
I sent you a pm.
Got it. Thanks!
Rob;

Thanks for the endorsement, I don't know how "GOOD" I am, I've always considered myself to be a "bad" boy. LOL

One thing I can tell you is that I'm not out to hose anybody, and everything I sell or trade comes with a money/trade back guarantee.
