Had this one in safe for awhile and it's never been scoped or shot outside of Barrett. It's a very early Fieldcraft, serial number 277.

Stock and receiver are perfect, no scratches or dings and new. The end of barrel has a very tiny safe ding on outside of barrel but crown and muzzle are perfect...it was very hard to capture but see pic.

Not sure how many FCs they made each year but this was probably one of the first ones out of Barrett.

Pretty neat serial number considering the caliber.

Hmmm...that is very interesting and good catch. I'm not a .277 guy so never put that together on this rifle. I'm sure Barrett knew it when they did it.
