I have an H&R sluggger 12 gauge in very good condition and would like to trade it for a 20 gauge. The 12 is just too much re oil with a shoulder injury and I hope my kids will start shooting it too. Let me know what you have and we can work out details.

Can't use a (PCR) pistol caliber rifle HERE or THERE? I hunted in IL and IN for almost 2 decades before laws changed to allow PCRs. I hunted with H&R Ultra Sluggers in both 20ga and 12ga, H&R Ultralight 20ga, and a Savage 220. I found recoil from shotgun slugs to be on the verge of brutal compared to pistol calibers loaded sensibly and factory pistol has been easier to find and cheaper than sabot slugs.
We can use center fire in PA but we hunt on a military reservation that requires slugs and both kids shoot 20g so I am hoping to standardize. I grew up in IN shooting rifles slugs out of smoothbores and move away before they allowed pistol cartridges. I wish this place would allow them because I agree slugs hurt on both ends.

That's unfortunate. Camp Atterbury allows PCRs during the same seasons as the state. My son shot his first deer there with a 220gr PC'd LHP from a 357 Maximum.

Past Hoosiers are welcome back unless they lived in CA or IL. There's no coming back from that!

GLWYS!
My cousin killed a huge deer at Atterbury in the 80s. The Army’s had me away for the past 35 years so I haven’t hunted there but I do get back to visit. PA has about the weirdest laws I’ve encountered.
