Looking for a SS 24” 30-06 take off barrel for a Rem 700 action. A friend has one with a 22” barrel that is toast. He would like to find a take off instead of a custom barrel.

I think a 24" barrel will be hard to find, no? I would look into a Douglas barrel and see what they cost.

I am replying because I wish my 700 had a 24" barrel instead of 22".

got a clean Mountain rifle barrel stainless 30-06 22 inch I'd part with ......was a take off for a wildcat re-barreling project.......................

I told my buddy it may take a while to find one, but the guys on the Fire" usually come thru!
